Maybe cuz they’re so hard to find teaching in Colorado, and I at least want to see one even if it’s just a small, two-dimensional pencil scribble on the corner of a piece of notebook paper.
The class’ll be reading the textbook chapter on how to persuade people, and I’ll be persuaded to turn to a fresh page, white with its blue horizontal lines and single red vertical line, and pen in a little stick-trunk with some friendly frond lines, a couple coconut dots underneath, a couple v shaped birds in the sky, and a happy-face sun above it all. Ahh, I can’t draw it perfectly, but it feels perfect.
