“Did you wash your hands?” she asked me again.
I knew I couldn’t touch her face until I did.
“I did,” I told her.
“You know you have to scrub for at least twenty seconds for it to actually kill all the germs,” she said.
This was before the Virus moment when the rest of society was also concerned with this kind of thing. She was just a very unique person who couldn’t help but always care an awful lot about it.
