Western Screech-Owl!... I’ve heard them before at night but this is the first time I’ve ever seen one

Scarlet Tanager! Really rare for AZ... a group of us went out to see it at this guy’s place where he hand feeds live meal worms to wild lizards and birds, everything in his yard seemed tame, great looks at the bird... lifer 381!

My goal this year was to beat 300 species and I did it today in California!... Here’s endangered species Ridgeway’s Rail (lifer 377!) feeding young!
