Mountain Bluebirds migrating thru today!... man, that shade of blue is proof of The Gods
This Great Horned Owl was a pleasant surprise today!
Lincoln’s Sparrow... don’t always get such a clear look at them!
Rosy-faced Lovebirds getting steamy on Valentines Day!
Sharp-shinned Hawk in the backyard!... usually we get a Cooper’s, but this seemed distinctly smaller among other differences... also seems to have the yellow eyes of a juvenile but body pattern of adult, awkward phase?
Lawrence’s Goldfinch!... usually pretty rare in this area, but some have been around this winter, very pleased to get one on the year list while they’re still here!
